WASHINGTON DC TRIP INFO. – Come eat at RG Brewskis Thursday night to kick off the summer.  Tell your server you are there to support the LBHS Band Trip to Washington DC.  Make sure you specify band!  We will get 10% of all the tickets processed.  These funds will help offset the cost of the trip.  Come anytime between 5:00 and 9:00 pm.  Tell everyone you know, hey, you gotta eat!!!

Summer rehearsals on July 20th, August 3rd, 4th and 5th from 6:30 – 8:30 pm.   Band Camp week of August 9th.  Band Participation Packets will be mailed later this week.  Please return as soon as possible.  Be advised the band office will be unoccupied after Friday due to summer vacations.  It should be operable again part time in July. 

I hope everyone has a safe and happy summer.  Again, thanks for all you do to help support the band program.

UPCOMING EVENTS

2010-2011 Band Trip Announced:  The band will continue its tradition of taking a trip every 4 years.  The “plan”, while still in process is to depart Thursday, March 17th, 2011 for Washington DC via motorcoach.  The return date is Tuesday, March 22nd around lunchtime.  This will coincide with Spring Break.  Estimated cost is $670.00 per person.  A Trip Meeting will be held on Monday, June 7th at 7:30 PM for all who are interested.  Please do not call or ask for specific information until that time as the planning process is in the early stages.  Student Account Fundraisers and other Fundraising Opportunities will be available to help everyone raise the funds needed to attend.  Information will be posted on the band website patriotband.org as it is made available after the preliminary meeting in June.
